I'm sure it is a scam! I received the same thing today. I didn't go to the requested sight as asked, but I bet they want to verify your password & account information. If anyone falls for it, they'll be RIPPED OFF big time!

We are trying to buy a truck advertised through the Auto Trader.  The person selling the truck is a premium member of paypal.  We tried to pay the deposit through Moneygram Money Transfers and they would not do it because they said it may be a scam.   The chat room at the freight company was 5 hours behind the time zone we are in.  They are supposed to be in Ohio, the truck is in Pennsylvania.  I have never used paypal before.  Is there a way to research the premium member to see if this is indeed a scam?  We emailed him and told him we would have a cashiers check for the full amount upon delivery of the truck.
