adding a prepaid gift card

I received a pre-paid american express card that I'd like to use with paypal but I can't find how to add it to my funds.  Is there a way to do that?

Unfortunally that's not possible.

You can’t link a gift card, prepaid card, or one-time use card – those cards won't work because of the security measures that PayPal has in place.
