During checkout ($12 item purchased), I an told I'm over my spending limit, and I must verify my account. My account has been verified for years, and my account balance is zero. Funds are deducted direectly from my checkingaccount (with credit card backup), and I am not overdrawn. Any suggestons?

Since forum members and/or forum moderators cannot look at your Account, unfortunately there's not much anyone here can do. You need to work with PayPal's Customer Service as these are the only people permitted to look at your Account.
