Timing Window PayPal vs Credit Card Company

I am at present, a frustrated first time "diputed claim" enrollee.

Here's what I know.

I ordered product (non-Ebay Seller) Jan 18, 2010.

I received notification from Seller of receipt of order Jan 18, 2010.

I Paid via my PayPal (PP) account Jan 18, 2010.

Seller received payment via his PP account Jan 18, 2010.

Expected delivery time of ordered product ~2 weeks from pay date of Jan 18, 2010.- o/a Feb 3, 2010.

The Seller has not responded to any (of numerous) e-mail messages for status, acknowledgement of order well after the ~Feb 3, 2010 delivery date.

The Seller that collected payment from PP has not responded to any/all e-mail re product / order status.

The Seller's Contact has not responded to separate e-mails re order staus.

I do not wish to nor will attempt to collect from both PayPal and my Credit Card Company.  PP has a time line for resolution (20 days?) .  My CC has a time line.  The clock is ticking.  I have already waited more than 20 days after the ~ship date.

How do we escalate my "disputed claim" now to avoid CC deadline- fast approaching?????

Your assistance genuinely appreciated.

Sounds like you have already filed a paypal dispute.  You need to escalate the dispute to a claim with 20 days.

If you can't do it from the resolution center, you will have to call Paypal.

Also Paypal has limited buyer protection for non enay purchases.  You will only be refunded if the seller has funds in their paypal account.

Since this is a non ebay purchase I would just contact your cc company and file a chargeback NOW.
