We have been PayPal/Ebay sellers & buyers for years and now all of the sudden our funds are beind "held/on hold"! and they are being held without NOTICE!! No letter, nothing from paypal or ebay..the way we found out, which I'm sure is like alot of others..we went into our paypal account & there is was...just like that! Fro what I have understood..reading through paypal's NEW policies about this..example "If you receive $100.00 in your paypal account then that money will be held for 100 days"..How is this they(paypal) do this to any of us without any notice at all?? I mean..I could understand a little better if this only applied to ppl w/alot of bad feedback but from what I can tell..it is happening to alot of ppl(including myself)w/very, very LOW BAD FEEDBACK scores, all of our feedback, for a longtime now has been POSITIVE!
Another paragraph I read said something like "We(paypal)have to make sure that your buyers/sellers(BOTH)ARE HAPPY W/YOU! So I guess if/when you get someone who isn't satisfied, just likes to b**** about anything & everything, leaves you bad feedback(when it's really not even deserved)then we, the paypal account holder will be punished!! Again from what I've read in paypal's policy about this "matter/subject" aka a huge PROBLEM for all of us is for every transaction w/every dollar in it = 1 day hold for $1.00(every doller is an extra day hold)..so that adds up to this..you get paid from ebay buyer $10.00 then the $10.00 will be held for 10 days!!
The bottom line,to me is that this is NOT FAIR to all of us who work hard w/our payapl accounts & ebay, ppl w/paypal accounts that do not overdraw alot, ppl who have been w/paypal for years without problems!! Another thing that upsets me is..I could NOT find an answer anywhere on the paypal website that told me how long this would last(paypal holding our money), What date this would end..how many days our accounts will/would be affected by this mess that paypal has created for us!!! I am really thinking about canceling my payapl account..after I get ALL OF MY MONEY..I will NOT have another dollar transfered into paypal so I will NOT have to wait that long to actually get it..something has to change/give w/this stupid stressed out f****** problem, that the "paypal owners/heads of the company" has caused & put all of us through before I will ever have another account w/them again!!
