The payment hasn't gone through yet

I sold something on etsy.com a week ago and the payment still has not gone through.  I'm wondering what I can do to make sure I get the money before I send the item that was sold... Any suggestions?

Have you verified your PayPal Account?   If no, then you must verify your account.  After you successfully complete the process, you should see the funds.

My account is verified.  And I have had payments go through before.  Does it normally take longer if the purchase is over a certain amount maybe? It's been a week though.....

If the buyer has paid using PayPal and the payment doesn't show in your PayPal account activity or history page, the payment was sent to an email address which is not linked to your PayPal account.

Check to see which email address was provided to the buyer as the "pay to" PayPal email address. You may have misspelled your PayPal email address or you may have used an old email address.

If you have access to that email address, login to your PayPal account and "Add" the email address to your account. The payment will show up right after you confirm the email address.

If you do not have access to that email address, you will need to ask the buyer to cancel the payment and resend the payment to your correct email address. Send the buyer a PayPal invoice (Request Money) from your PayPal account to make it easier for the buyer to pay.

How do you know that the buyer actually sent a PayPal payment?

The payment and sale showed up on my etsy, and I got an email from etsy confirming that the payment was made.  I will try changing my email though.  Thank you for your help!

I set up my correct email, and redid the account info but I still have not received the money.  I've email the customer also and no response.  I really need that money!  I don't know what to do.
