Refund on imitation goods.

I recently bought 2 pairs of ugg boots from a site.  Before purchasing I specifically asked if they were authentic (even though it stated across their website that they are 100% genuine).  The people came back saying no problem the reason for being cheap is due to a xmas promotion.  I received them 2 days ago 2nd Jan 2010 and they are total imitation.  I have triued numerous times to get in contact with the people but they cut me off when they learn its about a complaint/refund etc.  I paid for my purchase through paypal and wondered if someone out there can help me claim my money back.

Thanks

I wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me. I bought some "UGG" boots too and I just got them Jan 2nd and they were knockoffs. Then I tried to get a hold of them and their website is suspended and paypal won't do anything about it at all. Neither will my bank because they said I have to return the item first but I can't because I can't get an address or anything. Paypal is evidently NOT a safer way to pay.
