Just Paid for an item that i KNOW was a scam. i need to get a refund before the seller walks away with the money

i paid for an item online that i found and i am now communicating with another buyer who bought the same item i have purchased. i need to get a refund ASAP before he closes the account and walks away with my money.

whats the best way to do this?

Hi bnr34rb26dett-

You can visit the Resolution Center on your PayPal account, via the account overview screen to report the transaction.  For items not received, you do have to wait 7 days to allow for shipping. 

If this is an eBay purchase, the item will go through a Buyer Protection process, if it was purchased outside of eBay, the process is called Buyer Complaint.  You can learn more about your protections with either process in Section 13 of the User Agreement.

Geez Jason, I wonder why no one told me about buyer complaints when I called paypal? It seems there is alot of mixed messages that get set out depending on who you talk to.
