How long does it take for a refund to show up as Processing on Paypal account?

I was told i was being refunded right after i got off the phone with a store i purchased from. It was just the other day, but wouldn't i see it under processing the same day as he sent the refund? Seems when i send a payment it's almost instantly recieved.

Answered my question. I called them up asked if they had sent the refund, they hadn't. As soon as i got off the phone it was refunded.

Now i have to wait until the temporary hold is lifted. Which is a strange policy cosidering that I'm dealing with a actual business. Hopefully the hold doesn't last long, I guarentee this is the last time i use paypal outside of Ebay. Seriously my debit card would provide more protection than Paypal and there would be no middle man.
