Ebay payment on hold

I am buying a car via ebay from the UK.  I want the payment to be held by Paypal until the shipper picks it up.  How is this done?   Is it automatic?  Thanks

Unfortunately there are no built in features or options to do what you have in mind.

I have read in other posts about funds held over $20 until 21 days or positive feed back from the buyer is posted.  What about this info?

You're referring to the eBay/PayPal "hold" policy.    It's not a feature or option, it's a headache for many folks.  As I previously mentioned, there are no controls for you as the account owner to put a hold on money.
