Adding an alternate shipping address during payment

As I understand it recently Pay Pal and Ebay agreed to "permit" buyers to add an alternate shipping address that still provides Protection Policy terms. It must be terribly difficult for Buyers to "see" since I am still getting requests to send to a different address after payment is made. Does anyone know where this option is located in the payment process?

The option to edit the shipping address is available to the customer after they enter either there credit card info or login to their PayPal Account during the Checkout Process. If the customer has a PayPal Account, they can add alternate shipping addresses to their Account and choose to select one during the Checkout Process. If you as the seller has enabled the "confirmed" address feature in you Account Profile, then the customer cannot change their shipping address because the "confirmed" address means that the customer's shipping address must be the same as their billing address.

Thanks, at least I finally got an answer...my Power Seller agent was clueless! Do you happen to know if by unchecking that option re: "Confirmed" address, I loose or limit any buyer/seller protection?

Hi again, I am not "seeing" where I select this option you mentioned about unchecking confirmed address only...is it is My Ebay or Pay Pal, can you be more specific?

Login to your PayPal Account.
Click on the "Profile" link.
Under "Selling Preferences"
Select "Payment Receiving Preferences"
Note, the first option.

Ok, thanks again...it was already makred NO, so I assume that is the correct choice to allow buyer to add an alternative address. I just can't understand why 99% of my buyers are not "seeing" the area to add an alternate address??? Maybe I am not explaining to them correctly, I understood the alternative address option to be on the page where they are making a payment but perhaps it is is their profile where they need to add alternate addresses, sound right?
