International signed for item Australia was claimed as not received.

I lodged a complaint with Roya Mail. Investigation has taken two months and I have had confirmation that item was delivered.

Paypal have in the meantime refunded the buyer his money.

Paypal say I cannot re-open the case. The value is over £100.

How do I get my money back?

Thanks in advance

Don't think you can, that is one of the risks of selling internationally. You can ask the buyer if that now they have received it can they re-pay but if they refuse there is not a lot you can do.

Just spoken with Royal Mail.

It has taken them two months to tell me that it was received by the gentleman on the 6th of June.

They are sending me his signature and proof today.

At the moment I have lost over £100 on this deal when I have evidence it was received.

The buyer has seemingly lied about not receiving the item yet it is me who has lost financially.

Surely that can't be fair?

If the Royal Mail had given me this confirmation in a more timely manner it would have been confirmed before the case was awarded in the buyers favour.

Didn't say it was fair or that RM should have done things more promptly. I can only give you advice on how things stand at the moment.

If the buyer was UK you may be could have taken a small claims summons out against them but not a lot you can do internationally.
