help with getting a card accepted once you make a small change in other account info

I recently changed my email address- today when I went to pay on PP it said my "card was already linked to another account, please choose another method of payment" I assume this "other account" is in fact my own account, but linked to the old email address..... How do I get PP to accept my original card with the new email address?????

Welcome to the PayPal community.
If it tells you the card is on another PayPal account you might have an old PayPal account or another familly member could have bought somethig on eBay possibly creating an account. I would recommend you ring the customer service line so this can be confirmed. The card would need to be removed from that account first. The phone number is: 0800 358 7911

thanks Adam, but there's definitely never been another PP account with my name or card.....I did have an Ebay account, why would that matter? it's closing right now anyway. So, I spoke to customer services (eventually) and someone "adjusted some things" (weird thing to say on a money moving site, but there you go) I'll hope that my old card will in future match my only account, even though I have a new email address.....so silly to think that just changing an email address causes such trouble 😞
