We have PayPal Pro Integrated with our Wordpress/Woocommerce website. It's been working fine for while, but since a few weeks ago orders have been failing at payment screen.
Customers can enter their card details but when clicking the PLACE ORDER button they receive this error:
Payment error: There was a problem connecting to the payment gateway.
We have tried a series of things to get this to work.
- Changed Wordpress theme.
- Created new API details and input them.
- Added IPN.
- We've contacted our hosting in regards to SSL, there is no issue.
- Updated our PHP.
- Updated WooCommerce.
Still, this error is happening.
Around the time the error started happening, there's been no link to a change in the website. So it's a real mystery!
