Unsure about payment

Hi there, I payed for an item on paypal which I didn't have the money for. I had two cards connected to my account, will the money be taken for the other card? If not, how do I pay someone back if I owe them? I'm really worried.

Normally when you pay someone paypal CREDIT them in advance and then paypal wait for your funds to transfer from your funding source.

If that transfer fails then they put your paypal account into negative and limit it until you pay them back again.
