Unclaimed WITH a cancel option you can cancel but it depends on how you funded the original payment as to how quickly it will go back to your funding source OR paypal balance.
Unclaimed WITHOUT a cancel option returns back to you 30 days post payment BUT you can contact your funding source and ask them to release the pending payment as it won't now be needed.
