USD payments in the UK

I have a UK Based Paypal Account

It is set up to accept Sterling and US Dollars

I want to get my US Dollars out into our UK Based US Dollar bank account

Is this this possible? If so how do I do this?

If not can anyone suggest a way around this so we can withdraw the USD into a USD account .... does it need to be a US based account?

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

Money withdrawn from any foreign currency balances in your PayPal account to a UK bank account will be automatically converted to British Pounds.The conversion will be based on our currency exchange rate at the time you begin the withdrawal. The exchange rate will be shown to you on the 'Withdraw Funds Confirmation' page. If you have a bank account based in the US we can assist you in adding that and the withdrawal could then be processed in USD.
