Stop an echeque being paid

I issued an echque refund to a guy by mistake. How can I stop this the cheque which is due to be paid on the 26th July

Contact your bank and see if they can stop it.

Normally the only way an echeque refund fails is if the seller does not have sufficient funds in their bank account to fund the refund.

Many thanks Kudos I'II contact my bank and see if they can stop it. I would have thought Paypal could just cancel it, but it appears not.
