Skipped Payments

Ok so I have a subscription based website that has a repeat subscription functionality. This was all working fine until the middle of September when payments started to skip. I have communicated with paypal several times (7 to be precise) and the issue still has not been resolved. I have put an email in to merchant technical support and they said that - merchant not enabled for reference transactions. I have never had this on my account and on my sixth phone call to paypal they said that all I need is - subscriptions and express checkout recurring payment products. I apparently already have this which would make sense as payments were successful before September. Does anyone have any idea of why this could be happening as paypal seems to have absolutely no clue. From a very annoyed paypal customer.

I've started having the same problem this month. Did you get anywhere with PayPal. I've just been on hold for 20 mins to speak to someone and gave up.
