I bought an item over a week ago on eBay,it was under £10 including P&P.Now I see the seller was supposed to claim the payment. They are not a new seller,I am not a new eBayer or Paypal user,so what is the problem?
I really needed this item as an anniversary present, now I don't think I will get it in time.
I have contacted the seller, then I cancelled the payment, then paid again,in the hope it would just go through, like other transactions since but no.Please help!!

If there was a cancel option next to the word unclaimed then it means that the seller has the wrong email address for payment on his auction.
This happens when they add a new email address on paypal but forget to add it to the payment section on the auction that tells buyers what email address to pay to.
TELL YOUR SELLER TO DO THIS >>
Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Just a quick update...
There was no reply from the seller,so I had to cancel the payment, then I thought long and hard and decided to leave neutral feedback as opposed to negative (I know I'm too soft-I have more grey hairs now thanks to this!)
I then went ahead and won another auction, which thankfully went smoothly, and I think I ended up with a much nicer item anyway
A big THANK YOU for helping me get this sorted, the reply was very helpful and super fast!
