Paypal credit payments

I have just purchased a PC online and part of the deal was free credit for 12 months.

My Paypal statement reads  : 12 instalments - 12 remaining

Do I have to set up a Direct Debit or will Paypal automatically deduct from my bank account on a monthly basis with no further input from me.
