Firstly personally i always fund my paypal purchases with a credit card for extra protection so generally i would say yes.
Secondly you have to know that there is 0 buyer protection with paypal for motor vehicles so again personally its the last payment option I would use to pay for a vehicle. I would either do cash once i had inspected and approved / collected the vehicle OR bank transfer again after doing the inspection bit.
