Can I still receive money from someone?
Hi there,
PayPal is a flexible service and does not require a linked credit or debit card to use most services - it is recommended if you wish to use your card as a funding source for purchases; sending funds and automatic payments.
In relation to receiving funds, the minimum requirement is for the PayPal account to be activated via email and in good standing. It is recommended that you also have verified status to help make the PayPal network more secure.
Once you receive funds, it will remain dormant in your PayPal balance until it's either withdrawn or spent. Please note; a linked and confirmed bank account will be required to withdraw funds.
I hope that this has answered your question. Thanks for reaching out to the PayPal Community.
Best Wishes,
Jason C
