Has payment been made?

Someone claims to have sent me money but nothing is showing in my account two days later.  He sats to give it a few days to clear.  Why?

Paypal payments are more or less instant, even if pending they show in your paypal account but have pending next to it.

Was it Ebay or private? If the latter then double check the email address they sent the payment.

ALSO was it in your currency or another?
