Is there a way to talk to a person at customer service

I have now been trying to talk to a customer service supervisor for over an hour. I have been on hold at three different numbers at PayPal for in excess of 20 minutes each.
I notice that these holds started after I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to a "supervisor' who picked up the line, said "hello" and hung up. I have yet to be able to get through the music on hold since then.
Only thing I can think of is that they have tracked the phone number and are not going to talk to me because they know I am angry.

same issue, i was told to call again and been listening to these tips on loop for half an hour

I did finally get through to a person after a combined 1:40 minutes on hold. Not that the answer was helpful when I got through-- wait a week and see what happens.
