Twice yesterday, when I have signed out of Paypal: I have received the following message from my Anti spyware/anti virus program: PC Tools Spyware Doctor.
The message is:
Your request to visit website altfarm.mediaplex.com has been blocked. The website was denied because it has been placed on the banned sites list for the currently logged in user.
Now then---after doing a Goggle search on the subject, I see that EBAY now has some sort of a business relationship with mediaplex.com, even though the site is noted for MalWare. (that appears to be a widely held opinion).
This leads me to think that EBAY & of course Paypal are planning malware evil for me and my computer?
Anyone able to tell me your version of what is going on, or pass this on to someone who can?
