Bank Account withdrawed by paypal and money not on paypal account

I made a purchase through my paypal account when i did not have enough funds in my bank account and my bank account went negative, i know it takes 3-5 days for everything to clear but my bank already finished proccessing the money and have already charged me the overdraft fee, why does paypal doesnt have the money? and the payment still says pending/uncleared?

Welcome to the Forums.

It sounds like the payment was sent as an echeck which can take 3-5 business days to process. You can find the expected clearing date by going to your history log and clicking on the details link. I hope this helps.
