Why is Zynga on Facebook allowing payments to be taken without a password request ?

I am appalled by this!!!  I paid £7 roughly for some virtual items on Farmville and then decided to repeat it. Apparently all i need to do now is click on an amouint i would like and the money comes straight out of my account without a request for a password!!! .Meaning that my son who actually plays the game could click on ANY amount , as many times as he likes and the money would get paid no questions asked!!! So my question is....HOW DO I STOP FUTURE PAYMENTS BEING MADE TO ZYNGA ?  I didn't think payments could be made from my account without the password step !!!

Are you sure you did not accept a subscription which would allow you to buy additional credits while not supplying you password?  This is the only way I see this happening.

I don't think so, it requested payment as normal the first time i requested farmcash, but when I repeated it about ten mins later i just clicked on how much i wanted and it just took the amount out without any further password request.

My only guess than would be that your PayPal session still had you logged in which allowed the transfer again.  This should not happen and must be some sort of coding error in the facebook app.  If you were to make a payment using firefox and your son used internet explorer to play the game there should be no way he can randomly add more to his gaming account.

This same thing happened to my account.  There was several weeks in between the first time I used PayPal to make a payment on Facebook/Farmville, which needed my password, and the second time i used it, which was automatically taken out without using my password. What can I do to make sure this doesn't happen on Facebook or any other website?

You may want to call PP on this one.  I thought the original post could have been a fluke but two people having this issue would lead me to believe the PP APP maker intentional left some window open to store your login information for future transactions.  PP may not even be aware of this either.  The risk of what would happen if everyones logins were hacked or stolen would be a horrible thought.

I wonder if my issue is somehow related to this as well.  About a month ago I charge $1 via paypal for my daughter to retrieve her pup on farmville. Starting 10 days after that initial purchase I have charges, sometimes 2 and 3 a day. However there was one for yesterday and my kids were not on the computers at all. I'm disputing it. Does anyone know how to delete account info on facebook so that the charges don't continue daily?
