Hey guys i purchased something from ioffer.com and the seller apparently stole my money and didn't return my product, in total $78. It all started when the following happened:
First he sends me the wrong item then we came to an agreement that if i send him that wrong item back and pay the shipping costs he will return my money as soon as he receives it, he also agreed that if i show him the receipt that shows i have sent the wrong package, he will send the correct package immediately, which he claims he did. Another important thing is that i shipped it by boat, but this is because he told me to do this, he didn't want an expensive shipping method. The shipping duration for this process was 3 - 4 months. Next he said i will receive the correct package in 20 days i waited for a month and still didn't receive anything. So he said he will return all my money back after three days but first i had to cancel the transactions so i did. Next i waited for a week and a half (over 7 days) and he keeps on ignoring my messages. Anyways i paid $60 for the correct package and i paid $16.46 for shipping the wrong package which he sent out for a total cost of $76.46. I just want my money back i am done with this seller.
I contacted the helpdesk of the website and the told me to contact paypal, they would be abel to redeem it for you, so can you please get my money back i know its over 45 days but please i would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

sajjad,
I would say at this point your best bet is to call PayPal customer service and just explain the situation. International debacles of this type are really a pain, and sometimes PayPal cannot help - but it certainly is worth talking to them because 76.46 is not chump change. I am always weary of a seller that requests shipping by boat, it is one of the slowest and most unreliable ways to ship (hence the cheapness). I hope you have some luck with customer service, they are usually great in these types of situations because they have info on the seller that you are not able to access. Since it was a transaction that was not on eBay though I am not sure if it falls under the buyer protection. PayPal will be able to tell you that right away too. Hope this is of some help 🙂
