So irritated with Pay Pal right now.

I posted an item to sell on a forum and before my new pay pal account could be completely opened someone was interested in buying the item.

So I asked my brother if I could direct the payment into his paypal account and then when my account was up and functioning we could transfer the funds that way. Which, of course being my brother, he said yes to. This is going on a month ago although my account was active the very next day.

Why? Because Pay Pal flagged his account as limited for something they felt was suspicious back in February. Fine, whatever, I can understand and actually appreciate them caring. But since that day when my brother first tried to correct the issue he has been getting NOTHING but the run around from pay pal. First telling him he had to wait for something in the mail that could take up to a week, which never came. And then one thing after another he "had" to do before the restriction could be lifted. It's going on a month for me to recieve this money.......really? What a joke. Really, how hard is it to confirm identity? There is no process in the world, or company that uses one, that takes close to a month.

No, my brother is not lying as he has forwarded, to me, each e-mail he has sent and recieved from them so I know everything he is telling me is accurate. Although I do admit that I feel he bears partial responsibility in that he's the naive type that believes if he just waits things will take care of them self. That Joe Smoe WILL actually call him back in any reasonable time frame, if ever, with the information. He does not understand that when someone is trying to scam from you the only way to make things happen is to force the issue. Call them EVERY DAY, threaten to call the appropriate people or whatever else has to be done.

PayPal has left such a bitter taste with me that I can say without hesitation that once this matter is closed, I will never use the service again. Lesson learned by me I guess....use banks, or other methods don't trust these guys.

So as we end week four, I am no closer to my money. Seriously PayPal why are you scamming me out of my money?
