This seems to be a disturbing trend and PayPal is doing NOTHING to protect consumers. I purchased a twenty piece food storage set for $40. I received one small plastic container. Since the tracking showed delivered, my claim was denied. I had another item show delivered to my community mail box I DONT HAVE A COMMUNITY MAIL BOX!!! ALLITEMS FROM CHINA SHOULD REQUIRE A SIGNATURE AND THEN CONFIRMATION THAT WHAT WE ORDERED ACTUALLY IS WHAT WE GOT. DO BETTER PAYPAL

The BEST thing is to not buy from them in the first place, to recognise them.......

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If you lose because seller provides a fake tracking number (likely) then post back for more advice.
If the item arrives and its tat the make sure you CHANGE the dispute quickly before it closes to 'not as described'.
If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Also make sure you have activated the below link in case you have to return it....make sure you select the correct one for your countries.

Similar story here, these people are clearly running a scam, in a moment of weakness, I clicked on a Facebook add for a beer pong golf mat game, and lo and behold for my money I received a single unbranded golf ball .... the negotiation around a refund was hilarious, they offered me less than 10% as they claimed it would cost me a lot of money to send back the golf ball .... I just hope that PayPal and FaceBook get their act together and cancel this companies accounts .... Clear fraud , not a shipping mistake as they keep claiming ....

Same problem. What are my options? PayPal should be aware when this happens more than once

Same thing happened to me. It took a month for my item to show up and when it did, it was an ice scraper. I ordered 3 of the shovels for a total of $89 and they offered me a $2 refund. I am waiting for PayPal to make a decision as to whether or not I will get my money back.

Same thing happened to me. Ordered a cordless shovel and received a cheap ice scraper. I filled a dispute and was offered practicality nothing. Today I received an email stating that that if I return the icescraper they will refund my money. Catch is that you have to pay to return the item and it's $25! This is most definitely a scam and PayPal is doing NOTHING about it. They should not be doing business with these companies. I'm not sure if I will be using PayPal in the future.

This company is a scammer. They advertised Clark's sandals for 19.99 and I ordered 2 pairs. They were a knockoff and not worth $10 each. No invoice. no return information. PayPal should not allow companies to advertise falsly!

I also ordered 2 pair of shoes which were supposed to be Clark shoes. 1 pair broke the 2nd time I wore them. These are cheaply made. False advertisements and very cheaply made. Don't order anything from this company
