What does "Credit receipt showing details of the payment" actually mean?

I opened a dispute with a vendor that I paid via Paypal, using my credit card. I am now being requested to provide a "Credit receipt showing details of the payment".
This is confusing because a credit receipt is for returned goods and would be issued by the vendor - this does not exist. If they are asking for a credit card receipt they already have it as they processed the transaction.
Any clue as to what they actually want me to send them?

I resent what I had. They ruled against me. I ended up getting the merchant to refund it, so in the end, it worked out anyway.
