I recently tried to purchase an online gaming account from an online seller. They asked me to send them the payment through PayPal as a “Friends and Family” transaction. I did, and the seller and transaction agent stole the money without providing the what I paid for. I’ve already stopped the transaction with my bank but the thieves have removed me from the message boards so I can’t report them. PayPal says they can’t issue a refund on “Friends and family” transactions. Has anyone else had this happen?
