In June, I was looking at water slides for a party I was having. I fell asleep, woke up the next morning to an email thanking me for my purchase! I swear on all I hold dear I didn’t buy that. I immediately contacted both the seller and PayPal to dispute it. The seller and I emailed multiple times that morning. Then I got an email it had shipped. 85 pound water slide headed my way. Disputed it with PayPal. They said it wasn’t fraud. Thursday, got a tiny (maybe 6 ounces) package. From China, it was facemasks. Same tracking number. Didn’t really figure it out til tonight. When I saw tracking number matched, I knew it was fraud. I want my money back! I’m no way no how gonna wear masks from China!! Almost $70 bucks for 6 paper chemical smelling masks! PayPal doesn’t understand, this company is committing fraud. Advice?

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

A dispute for an unauthorised (which it sounds as if you made) transaction is telling paypal that your account was hacked and used without your consent to make that transaction.
Paypal would check IP addresses and devices and close the dispute if it was you that made the transaction.

You are only allowed 1 dispute per transaction so the only way you can get a second dispute opened is to contact Paypal (when and if you can) and see if they will open a second dispute for you.
They may decline citing policies but if you say you made a mistake then they might open a second dispute for you.

If not then if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then consider contacting your card issuer and see if they will help you with a chargeback?

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

And I know those signs and I do not order from any websites like that. I simply was browsing through and saw a link and clicked on it and then went to sleep the next morning I was notified that I had purchased this item. I didn’t! So I opened a case which was denied because it wasn’t considered fraudulent. So now that I have received an entirely different object, PayPal won’t reopen it based on it being completely different… Paper facemasks versus a waterslide… Item than supposedly ordered. I am SO Disappointed in this company
