Seller Protection , False Chargeback

A “friend” of mine messaged me one day asking me if she could send me $500 through PayPal so that I could send it back to her through cash app immediately. The generous and helpful friend that I am, I say yes. She sends the $500 to my PayPal. I transfer the $500 from my PayPal to my cash app and send it back to her cash app. (Have proof of everything by the way). Days later my account is -$500 and I find out she filed a dispute. The dispute said that “the buyer reported that someone made the order without their permission.” She made it seem like someone sent me the $500 without her permission but in reality she asked if it was ok for her to send me the $500 and I send it back to her but through cash app and not PayPal. With all that said, I now have a -$500 in my account. I get paid this week into my PayPal account and I’m losing $500 off of my check. And PayPal isn’t working fast enough nor do they even seem to care. Anyone have a similar problem like this. It’s a False chargeback if I had to give it a name.

Sorry but you chose to receive a payment from someone without any seller protection and pass it on unsafely to that person using another method.

You were sadly scammed so not sure why its paypals responsibility really?
