Scammers on PayPal

The following e-mail: <removed> on paypal is running a scam. They list a property in Paris on Craigs List and once you make any payment they disappear. I have had the experience. It seems paypal is not keeping on top of flagging such scammers and playing a game of buyer beware. It is something of concern since paypal has brought in the convenience of sending money between individuals.

Paypal buyer protection is not a 100% coverall, you need to read up on it and then risk assess your transactions.

Paypal is just a payment processor and gives you 'some' protection.

It does not cover real estate ie holidays etc.

Thank you to Paypal. The monies in question have been returned to me. A lesson learnt, fortunately at no material cost.
