In April 2020, I was scammed by She Swish Limited/ smileyhomey.com, which turned out to be a company in China, despite falsely advertising as being in the US. I created a dispute with paypal and have proven payment received by the company for items undelivered. PAYPAL for some odd reason is dragging this thing out. It is now July and they haven't moved on giving me my money back. The company did not and still does not respond to customer emails, YET PAYPAL claims to be in discussion with them over the dispute???

I'm so confused as to why, PAYPAL is appearing to be so overly dedicated to this fraudulent company as opposed to protecting its customers/account holders??

Below is the timeline of events.....

You escalated to PayPal... May 21

We've received the seller's info....MAy 28

We've reviewed the info....June 30

We're reviewing the additional info given by the seller...No date given???

You'll receive an update soon...Jul 14 (this date was originally July 7th, the date keeps being moved back).

THE ITEMS WERE NEVER DELIVERED...WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!!!

See attached screen shot of lack of delivery/timeline

Maybe someone in this community can help??Screenshot_20200708-195851_17TRACK.jpg

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

Its taking a long while for paypal to review claims because they are inundated with other users that bought tat from these China websites or Social Media ads.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
