I have been scammed as if it wasn’t embarrassing enough I ordered a set of 3 luggage off a sale site on Facebook and got a data cable delivered I then googled the seller and found out so many others had been scammed too (on Facebook lots of positive feedback) I sent all the evidence I had as well as this the site where other people were saying they were scammed and still that wasn’t enough and PayPal have favoured the seller, I tried to phone PayPal but only got to speak to an automated service which just said it had been resolved what I’m after is a phone number where I can actually speak to someone as this is not fair

How did you pay ie which paypal option?
How did you fund that payment?
Did you open a dispute?
Which dispute did you open?
Did you escalate to a claim?
If so then did paypal find in your favour?
If so did you return trackable?
Did you provide paypal with a tracking number?
You need to give us some info to work with.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Sorry not sure about which PayPal you mean but the payment was paid by my registered credit card on PayPal I did open a dispute I opened it under product delivered not as described an offer came back almost straight away with half the amount but as I was confident as this was a scam I refused it then PayPal. Came back asked me to send more proof so I sent photos of what I was expecting and what I received and a screen shot of other people who had been scammed by the same seller and PayPal came back with that I hadn’t provided enough evidence so they were dismissing my claim I tried to phone to speak to someone but you only speak to an automated voice who at the end say this dispute has been resolved I just wanted to speak to someone

Phone again and appeal the decision.

Sorry it has taken time for my reply I decided to take my dispute to MasterCard showing them the same evidence I had shown PayPal and have just heard they are going to refund me, I’m so glad I’ve never been scammed before and was horrified when PayPal sided with the seller thank you very much for your help and advice
