Paypal Prtecting Faud

On June 24, I ordered clothing from what I thought was Polo Canada at http://www.polo-ralphlauren.ca/

I should have known there was something wrong as they would only accept PayPal and other links weren't working

On PayPal, the selller was listed as <removed>

(The merchant's website would not be populated by this PayPal portal hence the confusing link above) I immediately told PayPal it was an unauthorised transaction

PayPal responded that it was authorized and closed the case without further ability to appeal even after I explained the fraud.

I am left thinking PayPal is not sincere

I reached out again to PayPal cutomer service on 22 July 2020 and was given the run around. First payPal said to contat the seller. Seller has no contact. It is a FRAUD.

Next PayPal gives me spurious instructions to links that do not exist on their website.

Someone please tell me PayPal isn't in league with this scam. I don't have the goods - no surprise there as the so called PayPal merchant's website through which the payment was made is fake. And I don't have my money.

What is the use of PayPal. Why use PayPal i one is not protected?

PayPal I need a refund.

A dispute for an unauthorised transaction is telling paypal that your account was hacked and used without your consent to make that transaction.
Paypal would check IP addresses and devices and close the dispute if it was you that made the transaction.

You are only allowed 1 dispute per transaction so the only way you can get a second dispute opened is to contact Paypal (when and if you can) and see if they will open a second dispute for you.
They may decline citing policies but if you say you made a mistake then they might open a second dispute for you.

If not then if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then consider contacting your card issuer and see if they will help you with a chargeback?
