Could someone please help me? I sent my rent to my landlord through the PayPal app. It prompted me to access my contacts and send it through her phone number. So I sent it and it went to a completely different person. I talked to my landlord about it she showed me her account and it was the correct number I sent it to associated with her account. So I called PayPal and they said the phone number was also associated with another account. No one has been able to give me a straight answer about this. Why would they prompt you to use a phone number then let two different people use that phone number??
