Has anyone been in the same dispute world with Shenzhen Lijuan Trading Co., Ltd in China? They sent me a really crappy puzzle instead of th beautiful one I ordered online. And in the dispute center  I will get a refund only if I send the wrong puzzle back which basically means that I will spend the $35.00 of the original cost of the puzzle I wanted on shipping... I know this is a scam!!!!

In the event of a dispute you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you buy from that seller / item / country because....

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Yeah- Thanks for this information. I keep my PayPal connected to my banking account, so no ability to do a credit card stop. Lesson learned. I won't use PayPal again for purchasing. It was nice to think that a dispute would help, but it was really just a waste of time because of these clauses.

OR don't buy from these sites.........

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

Paypal gives you some protection but just the same as credit cards terms and conditions apply so best to read it in the user agreement and then risk assess your own transactions.

Did you activate that link I put in my first post?

Hi - thanks. I did click on the link and I believe I would get some shipping fees back, but I just don't care any more + the carbon footprint of sending a crappy puzzle all that way just isn't worth it. I appreciate you, and absolutely Laissez faire...

thank you

yes, and PayPal has known about this fraudulent company for MONTHS now.  If you search this forum for Shenzhen Lijuan Trading, you'll see how many hundreds of comments there are about them.  I'll never use Paypal again.  This was probably the worst customer service experience I've ever dealt with.  Not only do I think Paypal should reimburse those who have experienced this, but I think they are culpable for this company scamming customers, as Paypal absolutely knows that this company is fraudulent (based on the 100s of people who have complained), and they have done NOTHING about it.  That is deceitful and shady.
