Has anyone done business with this company and then , when you stop ordering, they show a negative balance in you REBATEST account and start a PayPal dispute against you? I am curious as to how many they have done this to because now they have filed a dispute against my daughter also

So, I just had this problem. They claimed that they double-credited me for an item I reviewed 5 or 6 months ago, and only discovered it after I had cashed out my account and stopped reviewing for them. They filed a dispute at Paypal for my last cashout, which was for around 3 times the supposed double-credit.

The dispute claimed that I had not delivered merchandise that they paid for! They are committing fraud by telling Paypal that I am a vendor and they are a buyer, when in fact they are reimbursing folks like us for buying Amazon items and providing reviews.

And the real problem here is that Paypal is complicit in this fraud.  I provided documentation of the circumstances around this dispute, and Paypal promptly, and without explanation, simply found in their favor. Why? Because Paypal makes money off this fraud. They make money every time Rebatest pays a reviewer. And even worse, they make money every time Paypal finds in favor of Rebatest and charges back the reviewer's cashout.

I think it's time to get a journalist interested in this source of (often low quality) Amazon reviews, and in Paypal's part in the problem.

That is EXACTLY what is happening to ME AND my daughter! However, PayPal closed my daughter in HER favor! Mine has not been settled yet, but I called PayPal and told them the whole deal and they assured me this company was under investigation...how long ago did they do this to you? Maybe paypal was not aware...although you DID explain the deal to them. If this is happening to a lot of people, PayPal should be catching it. And IF paypal has decided in THEIR favor, seems paypal would have to give back the amount THEY made off the sale.

I appealed their decision, providing them with screenshots of the Rebatest credits and an explanation of what was going on.

The good news? I won the appeal, and Paypal returned the money they "refunded" to SUTENG TECHNOLOGY (aka Rebatest).

The bad news? When Rebatest won the dispute claim, Paypal charged me a $15 "dispute fee". They have not returned that $15.

So at least Rebatest didn't come out ahead -- but Paypal sure did!
