I received an email from Hotels.com stating confirmation of a booking I did NOT make that was listed as a PayPal charge. I called the hotel and the representative informed me they had received numerous calls regarding this same “booking”. Fortunately the hotel doesn’t accept PayPal and no charge was made to my account. The representative told me PayPal was hacked. Why does PayPal not inform its customers when a hack has happened??
