Please can someone help? Sold a phone, buyer paid through PayPal. Received an email off PayPal stating they had taken the funds twice from the buyer and before they would release the funds I had to pay the buyer the money. Did this yesterday and so far I have sent PayPal 10 emails today as they sent me an email this am saying I would receive my funds at 5pm. They have emailed me again saying I have to upgrade my account- I think I’m being scammed to the tune of £860- the police have said I need to go and report it on Monday. Any thoughts as I’ve been in tears all weekend

Sorry but its a scam.
They would have been fake emails.
Paypal would never tell you to refund unless the funds were SHOWING in your paypal account balance,
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
