I paid for some personalized cups for a family member through my account. The seller specifically told me to select the family and friends way to pay. Now at the time I DID NOT KNOW that paying this way would offer me no protection in case there was an issue with the seller. I got her the money and she got me the cups a month later but they are totally jacked. I requested a refund from her, no response. I tried to file a dispute under the transaction but they said it wasn't a fraudulent payment which was the only option to choose when filing my dispute. I gave all the details in the description including I have proof I was told to send the money that way but that didn't matter. Will calling and explaining by phone do anything or do I just need to take this girl to small claims court?? At this point I want my money back and she needs to know she cant just be taking people's money, giving them crap and walking away. My lesson was definitely learned on how I pay people from here on out.
