Paying

 Hi,  I bought something off a website and paid by card and got confirmation receipt from paypal (but i nexer login).

have been advise order will take 4-5 weeks and money ahs been taken

But now  i'm questioning myself if website was legit and worried. 

i've email the company today and waiting there responde, but if have receipt number is there a way tracking them or the payment to clarify is okay?

I very rarely use paypal which is reason for the concern.

if anyone can shed some light would help greatly, thanks

Sounds as if you paid as a paypal guest buyer, you still have buyer protection if the item does not arrive but to open a dispute you would need to contact customer services and they would do it for you.

hi thanks for replying, I've only recently placed the order, so if i don't received within -45 weeks 

is then okay to contact customer services?  what i mean is, is there a time limit?

You have up to 6 months in the U.K to file a dispute for non receipt of item via paypal.
