I have had 6 PayPal working capital loans totalling £28,000 from 2015 – 2020 and the latest one was fully re-paid on the early.

Warning to others, it seems to me that manual (non-sale payments), paying off early with a final lump sum and accepting the Covid-19 automatic payment relief may all be factors in a subsequent denial. If you are thinking of paying off with a lump sum in the hope of starting a new loan, don’t bank on it being approved. Keep your lump sum and let the sales pay off the capital borrowing. No one at PPWC seems to want to say anything about these codes, I need borrowing to keep my business going so I will need to actively look at other solutions.
