duplicate reminder emails sent to clients

Hi,
We use mass reminders for unpaid invoices. I check those I want to remind, click on batch remind and send. Once. Then when I look on any invoice, I see the reminder was sent multiple times and client complain they receive swarm of emails. Any idea why? Happens when using different computers so I don't think it is on my side, like clicking multiple times.
