DocuSign BrainTree "Unable to authorize payment. Try again later."

I am using a DocuSign envelope to have customers sign a contract and pay a down payment via Braintree integration with DocuSign. The Integration seems to be working, when the customer clicks finish to finish the document a pop screen appears asking for the down payment to be paid. PayPal and credit card are the options presented to the customer. When the credit card is entered the the following error is seen:


Unable to authorize payment. Try again later.


Do anyone know where the problem is in this workflow???
