PayPal Later problems

I don't like how my account is defaulting to Bill Me Later / Paypal Later.  I cannot seem to find where to change this in my account settings.  I tried to call customer service and I got stuck in a loop and never reached a human.

My goal is to close the Paypal Later account.

Does anybody else know how to solve this?

Okay, I found this previous posting from 5-4-10, "Don't want to use Paypal Credit Card" and that helped solve the default settings issue.

Now I want to know if anybody has been able to remove/close their Paypal Later account?
